Monthly Re-Cap #3

The montly re-cap is coming to you slightly earlier this month, for reasons unknown *taps side of nose*.

ON THE BLOG -

Its been really quiet on the blog this month, and that of course is my fault, but I'm not making excuses for not posting a lot because I've decided not to schedule anymore; its just really not me. I will post when and wherever I feel like, but I don't mean this in a bad way! Most likely I'll be posting every week, but I'm not going to confine myself to certain dates etc. It was World Book Day, and I dedicated a post to that which you can read here. And I also rambled a little about the Divergent Movie Soundtrack, which I still love. Having already seen the film on the 20th, I can definitely say the music was an amazing bonus!!! Plus the blog now has an entirely new design, which I've been fiddling about with for a while, and I'm super happy with it now. Its elegant and simple, and I adore it. I don't think I'll be changing it anytime soon :)

DIVERGENT SOUNDTRACK

So the Divergent Soundtrack is officially available for streaming!! Whoop! The soundtrack itself doesn't come out until Tuesday, but we can still hear the awesome tracks and  see the artists that are going to be on it - seriously, how awesome is this soundtrack? I heard it for the first time and have not stopped listening to it... yeah, ok, I get obsessed easily... BUT ITS THE DIVERGENT SOUNDTRACK. And with 13 day's left (actually, its less!) until I get to see Divergent on March 21st my excitement levels are off the charts, after hearing this bloody amazing soundtrack, I have higher hopes for the movie than I did before.

World Book Day 2014

WHAT IS WORLD BOOK DAY?

Apart from the obvious title, World Book Day celebrates books for an entire day! What could be better than that, eh? On the 6th of March the festivities are ripe over at http://www.worldbookday.com/ - with their biggest book show on earth, a charlie and the chocolate factory prize draw to see the musical, and much more! I've celebrated WBD several times by doing things such as dressing up as Pippi Longstocking (I was 9 okay?) and of course buying books. 2014's World Book Day promises to be bigger, better, and even more bookish than ever before! As well as having loads of fun you can fundraise or support a charity by donating to Book Aid International; more info can be found on their website.

SUMMARY- Sixteen-year-old Austin Szerba interweaves the story of his Polish legacy with the story of how he and his best friend , Robby, brought about the end of humanity and the rise of an army of unstoppable, six-foot tall praying mantises in small-town Iowa.
To make matters worse, Austin's hormones are totally oblivious; they don't care that the world is in utter chaos: Austin is in love with his girlfriend, Shann, but remains confused about his sexual orientation. He's stewing in a self-professed constant state of maximum horniness, directed at both Robby and Shann. Ultimately, it's up to Austin to save the world and propagate the species in this sci-fright journey of survival, sex, and the complex realities of the human condition.

Monthly Re-Cap #2

ON THE BLOG...
This month I revealed two covers; Dead Girl Walking by Ruth Silver, and Dreams In Her Head by Clare C. Marshall, Amber tagged me in the My Fictional Life Tag where I chose Tahereh Mafi to pen my story and got the chance to own a phoenix. Then I recommended three books for Valentine's Day.
After that I kind-of flopped with blog activity but there's lots happening in March so I'm hopping that'll motivate me back into blogging more often because I truly do love it; although I'm feeling quite terrible at the moment after catching a cold!

BOOKS I READ...
